Paxil Detox: Second Part

I've got email from Dennis:

"I have just read your advice and note that you told the person to just quit Paxil. It isn't that simple. Paxil has a very strong "rebound" effect in many people, wherein the symptoms for which the drug had been prescribed, or might have been prescribed, come back strongly. These effects can include abnormal thinking and behavior disorders, including occasionally attempted suicide, successful suicide, or sometimes multiple murder and suicide."

Thanks for your message. I know what Paxil is and does, don't worry. That person lives happy and without any problems with, and any withdrawal symptoms now about a four months (now's September, 2002) from the first day of quitting Paxil at once.

It is easy when you believe it is.

Read on...

Below you'll find events from the first month.

"Wanted you to know that I'm experiencing a withdrawal symptom: itchie creepie crawlie like little bugs are crawling on me. I try to want more and to breathe through, but I guess I'm not that strong yet. I do know that this is a neurological, nervous symptom because I can control it by applying something either hot or cold (both temperatures work) to the back of my neck, lying down, and breathing deeply. Just wanted you to know.

It is so very important for "us" to get the word out that this "chemical imbalance in our brain" that the doctors scare us to death with (Are we losing our mind; will we turn into ax murderers???) is a bunch of LIES. They don't know about brain chemistry enough to know what is "normal" and if it differs from individual to individual anyway." G.B.

Try to visualize these bugs and love them or just kill them. Decide never to let them crawl on you. Want more of it.

"I am doing better... bugs are gone!" G.B.

"Blessings to you and I'll be back tomorrow. (I got through my business conference just fine: no Paxil, no Advil, no Fiorinal #3....just my Tadas Rx and Recipe." G.B.

I've received email from Deb:

"120 MGS OF PAXIL!!?? Unheard of! I've NEVER heard of anyone being on that high of a dose! Who the hell was your doctor?! Just wondering. Oh and did you wean off slowly - I'm confused by your story."

Drug is QUIT at once, immediately, not slowly, lowering or dividing doses. Of course, you're confused... and how you can't when you can't think for yourself, when thinking is made by your doctors, not by you, ah?

Ok, let's go forward:

"I want you to know about another situation that manifests during Paxil withdrawal, at least for me. My sleep hours are all messed up. I wake up in the middle of the night, boom, wide-awake. I go on and get up and work around the house and work on my various projects, etc. (Strangely, I am being super productive and I have more energy than usual.) I am really doing OK and feeling better than ever." G.B.

How much do you sleep?

"A couple of weeks ago I was needing to get about 10 - 12 hours of sleep a day. I didn't always get that much, but I was sleepy all the time and could take naps and go to bed very early and sleep late. I could barely drag myself out of bed in the morning. Now I seem to be full of energy. I'm getting 4 or 5 good solid hours of sleep and then I'm awake again. Do you understand this?" G.B.

If you don't feel sleepiness (or other negative symptoms) in daytime, this is NOT insomnia and it is OK.

Do you know that there are people who cannot go to sleep and feel very fine? It can expand your time of life. You can do a much of good things.

It's not strange, usually sleep is an error of evolution, I think.

If you want to live, you have energy, that's it. Also note, there are two opposites in life: unconsciousness (sleep, depression and other negatives) and consciousness. Process of "wanting more" removes unconscious things and you need a less of sleep time.

Consider writing a book.

Third week:

"Hey there. Are you keeping up with when I stopped taking Paxil? I haven't; I just simply threw it away and made up my mind not to take it any more. This has been my worst day so far. My vision is very blurred and the zaps (the "electrical shocks") have started in my feet and legs. It's even hard to sit still; I've jumped lots of times today, but I don't think anyone has seen me. It's sort of a sick, scary feeling. I'm making it through, but this has been a tough day." G.B.

"Oh, Tadas get stressed. It is need to launch his power", Tadas said in his head and answered:

Don't even try to use process of wanting more desperately. It'll not work. You just LOST sense about what this process is really doing. So:

  1. Sit down and RELAX!
  2. IDENTIFY all symptoms, try to get with virtual/visualized hands all symptoms you have.
  3. And THEN try to FEEL that you want IT.

If process doesn't work, it because you're losing sense of WHAT you EXACTLY you need to wish. Just concentrate your attention, IDENTIFY WHAT it is, and want IT EXACTLY.

Don't even try to just affirming, "I want it" many times. IT WILL NOT WORK AND NEVER WORKED!

Better sit, relax, identify and say "I want exactly IT what I just
identified" ONCE.

Why is so? You just wasted your good by manifesting it. Good and bad feelings are just energy. What you manifestate it will go from you. So, when you feel bad don't even try to manifestate good, but *loudly* say to yourself EXACTLY WHAT YOU FEEL.

When you feel bad, EXACTLY say it and it will vanish.

When you feel good, EXACTLY say it and it will vanish too.

"I'm better. Thanks. Now I must print this recipe and carry it with me!" G.B.

This is common case... In long run processes seems doesn't work, and reason why is that you think you are doing this process, but ACTUALLY you are not.

It is how our subconscious minds are lying to us.

"OK, so now I'm crying a little. They are tears of joy.

Once there was a young man who saw an old blind woman, a woman who had been blind from birth. And he touched her and healed her and now she can see." G.B.

"Wanting more works unless I am very tired." G.B.

Note that when you're tired, you can want more of that tiredness.

"Wanting "More tiredness"... Why didn't I think of that?????" G.B.

It is how our minds work.

Peace.

Paxil Cut off!!!!

Went to a new doctor who told me to quit taking paxil ...stop immidiately. Apperently you are not supposed to take it with Depekote. Anyway /I did as he said and I have gone right back to all the old stuff as mentioned above but also have annother new problem. I get a pulsing or throbbing in my head all the time. I am so familiar with it I can say that it pulses quickly always in groups of three pulses always in rapid succession. Alway 5 to 31 secconds apart in the groups of three pulses never more never less. It is driving me crazy. Fortunately it doesent hurt. It is not like a headache. Am I the only one? Any one else felt this? Will it go away?

throbbing

My advice is to breathe through it. Try to let these pulses be a reminder to pause, take a deep breath, smile (inwardly, like yoga smile, which usually makes an outward smile!). Know that others have experienced such things; it is not unusual or tragic. I don't trust doctors! I trust breathing, and smiling, and meditation. Meditation, not medication, is a key....

It will go away. It's just an

It will go away. It's just another one effect of serotonin.
