Nudity & God - Naked in Spirit

I am a Christian. I am a proud believer in my bible and God’s love for me.

I am also a naturist. I believe God made us with infinite love. He crafted our bodies, not for us to feel shame, but to revel in. We stand before God, naked in spirit. God can see into our soul. Why would anyone believe God cannot see through our clothes?

The nature of God is such that we can hide nothing. Why should we hide our bodies and feel shame? To me, that would be like lying beside my wonderful wife, my life partner, and feel shame because I got an erection.

The society we live in imposes restraints on our manner of behaviour. My wife and I live as naturists in our leisure time, either in the comfort of our own home or at the Christian naturism retreat we are members of and attend at the weekend.

When Peggy and I gather with the others at the outdoor church services on Sunday morning, we look around, joy filling our hearts, at the beauty of the trees, the soft grass beneath us and the beautiful and sacred naked bodies around us.

We feel closer to God than we have ever felt before.
