Life rules

Kim's post to 2004/5 blog:

Life is exactly what you want it to be.

Be positive -> outcome positive
Be negative -> outcome negative

As an example look at any textured surface. When I look myself long enough at some textured surface I begin noticing that the shapes make up different kinds of faces. Now all these faces I see are a direct reflection of MY OWN mood and what I feel.

So if I feel happy -> I see happy faces
If I feel sad -> I see sad faces
If I'm very down -> I see demonic faces

Same rule exists in your own life when you interract with other people.

If you are happy -> You notice how happy others are etc.

Another example: While visiting residents in a nursing home, one elderly woman complains to me: I want to go home; I hate it here. The food is awful. There is no privacy. My family never comes to see me. I am so lonely.

Another woman, her roommate, tells me: I am so blessed. They are so good to me here. They feed me three meals a day. They take good care of me. Everyone is so nice.

Two women, in the same place, having the same life experience, but living by different rules, and having different outcomes!

"What you believe is what you

"What you believe is what you get" in more specific words :)
